Welcome to Cinco De Mayo Mexican Restaurant, a beacon of the American Dream since 2014. Founded from humble beginnings, our journey began when Luis Magana moved from Jalisco, Mexico, to Atlanta in 1976. Starting as a dishwasher, he eventually managed a Mexican restaurant. In 1995, Luis realized his dream by opening the first Cinco De Mayo in Kentucky. Joined by his son Juan Luis in 2014, we’ve since become a staple in Central Kentucky.

Today, our story, fueled by passion and tradition, has been featured in various media outlets. As we celebrate over a decade, we express sincere gratitude for the steadfast support that has allowed us to expand to four locations, allowing us to better serve the Lexington communities.
